General Arrangement

The Visayan 11 has enough interior accomodation with standing headroom to be a comfortable live-aboard long distance cruiser. Full headroom is provided in the bridgedeck salon by the depressed athwartships aisle joining the hull entry steps port and starboard. This keeps the roof profile low enough to maintain the attractive lines of the ship. The aisle and exterior entryway are one step below the normal underwing level, but are far enough aft to minimize possible underwing pounding in rough conditions.

In the hulls full size double bunks are provided with excellent headroom for a cool nite's sleep. Singles in the forward beam will delight the kids. Sitting headroom is available at the dining table and settee with excellent all-around visibility from this raised postion. There is room for sleeping on the bridgedeck floor to take advantage of the breeze from the opening forward windows.

The "galley down" adjoins the salon with a large opening for the cooks comfort and contact with the crew. A well insulated ice-box under the salon seat may be cooled by a 12 volt frig system or just packed with ice.

Twin small diesels will give the Visayan 11 excellent range and maneuverability. A full sized chart table with stool will make the captain happy with a permanent place to stow his charts and tools and plan the next day's courses.
