SeaClipper 28' Trimaran (PeDelEm)

We began our multihull building career with the Seaclipper 28, a very easy-to-build sheet plywood design from John Marple's Seaclipper trimaran series. Any do-it-yourselfer wanting to do some serious cruising on a bare bones budget should seriously consider John's attractive 38 and 41 footers of this series. They are as easy to build as the popular Wharram cat designs, and undoubtedly better performing deep sea boats. The 28' is demountable and trailerable with slide-in beams. The interior accommodations are quite limited, but it is a surprisingly good sailor for it's very simple lines. We built PeDelEm on a sand floor under a grass roof. Oh the good ol' days....
