Constant Camber 30' Folding Trimaran (RayBeth)
Designer: John Marples
This was our first Constant Camber
Project built on a vacuum mold. The main and ama hulls come from
the same very simple mold. The boat folds or demounts for trailering
or storage. This could be a very manageable do-it-yourself project.
The interior is limited to one single bunk in each end, but the
design features a really huge and very comfortable cockpit big
enough for a half dozen friends to sit in real comfort while daysailing.
A properly designed boom tent would make this a great camping
cruiser. This boat flies and provided us with our firstever sail
at 20 knots. (CC project #1)
