This well known cruising design has been very carefully built of steel with excellent structural detailing and first class wood work in the interior. This yacht is cutter rigged and carries a 58 ft Isomat mast with a complete suit of essentially unused sails. The anchor windlass is power and there is a good inventory of ground tackle. KANAWAY is equipped with radar, VHF radio, speed Log, depth sounder and GPS. Below decks, the auxiliary engine is a rugged Yanmar 3 cylinder, 54 hp diesel with large tanks for good range under power. The galley stove is a Force-10, with a very large freezer/refrigerator conveniently located in the galley. The aft cabin features a large walk-around double berth ensuite. Kanaway is practically a new yacht having only been out on a few shake-down cruises.
